Facebook makes users comments live: maybe you’ll stay longer

Facebook has added a new real-time commenting feature to all users. Now all Facebook members can see live comments from their friends without need to reload the page.
"Live commenting, which we rolled out to all of our users a couple weeks ago, creates opportunities for spontaneous online conversations to take place in real time, leading to serendipitous connections that may not have ever happened otherwise," writes Facebook's Ken Deeter in a Monday blog post.

Australian and Indian users are the most vulnerable, VeriSign reports

According to a new study conducted by VeriSign, 86% of Australian internet users are at risk of online fraud, while in India the amount of vulnerable users makes up 76%. According to the research, Australia is one of the most vulnerable nations, as well as the UK and the USA, while Germany and Sweden are the best at protecting themselves online. Thus, USA has the minimum chances of recognizing a phishing site amid Sweden, Germany, Denmark, USA, UK, Australia and India, countries chosen for the survey.

Google partners with epa for updated representation of Google News

Google and European Pressphoto Agency (epa) on Tuesday announced the new agreement that allows Google to host epa content on Google News. Thus Google News users will be enabled to find original text stories and photos from the online services of several of epa's eleven shareholding agencies quickly and easily. That will also enhance the user’s experience, and simplify the journalists and publishers work.

Almost million of Bank of America's mobile banking users prefer iPhone or iPod


Bank of America has announced that they have just 2 million users of mobile banking service. The bank considers this figure too small since the number of online banking users totals 29 million, and mobile banking users are just 10% of all Internet banking users.
