Admeris Payments, an mCommerce provider for retail, advertising, app developers, digital media, publishing and telecom billion unveiled new payment industry solution OneTouch. OneTouch is meant to help solve three main mCommerce problems: authentication of customers and their smartphones; ease-of-use to perform single and repeat transactions and powerful cryptographic security design to reduce fraud against merchants and consumers.

An international technology provider of next generation payment solutions for financial institutions Clear2Pay has acquired a US based provider of payment test applications for core payment platforms and system capacity Lexcel Solutions.

A provider of Internet and mobile payment solutions Adyen announced the launch of a single-click mobile payment solution for iPhone and Android. Using the new platform app developers at the iTunes have an alternative payment gateway that accepts credit cards, PayPal and a range of other payment methods within mobile applications and mobile websites. Tailored for mobile environment Adyen payment platform eliminates the need for merchants and developers to care for security and PCI compliance.

Fiserv Inc announced that it now serves over 375 financial institutions with its Mobile Money mobile banking and payments solution. The company says that about 200 of these banks and credit unions are already live on the service, a double growth over the past 12 months. Number of consumers using the service increased by 600% within the past 6 months.

Visa Inc announced the launch of next generation payment solutions to replicate the ease, reliability and security of Visa point-of-sale payments within traditional and digital eCommerce, mobile commerce and burgeoning social networking commerce environments. According to the official statement the new offering will include a secure cross-channel digital wallet and a range of customized mobile payments services that address the specific requirements of geographic markets around the world.

An on-demand payment processor BillingTree Inc announced that Pulaski Electric System is implementing its new suite of mobile applications for electronic bill notification and payments via SMS/Text capable mobile devices. BillingTree developed a solution for Pulsaki on the basis of Kaizen’s Kpay platform that allows SMS/Text bill notifications. The solution offers a seamless method for billers to notify their customers of a balance due then enables account holders to authorize payment from multiple pre-registered payment forms, including ACH, credit and debit accounts.

Atos Origin has partnered with three major French mobile carriers to form a new joint venture known as “Buyster”. The JV will develop, market and operate a new mobile payment system in France, say the companies in the joint statement. Bjuyster payment solution will be accessible to customers in France starting mid-2011. To launch the solution the three French mobile operators (Bouygues Telecom, Orange and SFR) and Atos Origin joined their forces and expertise through Atos Worldline, a European leader in electronic transactions and secure payments.

Global payment solutions provider hyperWALLET announced that it had expanded its network into the Russian Federation, thus increasing its coverage to 45 countries worldwide. Credicard, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Citigroup Inc., has signed a binding agreement with Elavon, a wholly-owned subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp and leading global payments provider, for the establishment of a joint venture which will be a merchant services company offering payment solutions to the Brazilian marketplace. Combined with Credicard’s market expertise and brand recognition, Elavon will deliver a robust processing platform, financial efficiency, innovative payment solutions and secure point-of-sale devices for mobile acceptance environments.

 It became known that American Express and SAP AG have partnered to launch a new service allowing SAP customers in the USA to process electronic payments more seamlessly with American Express. Through this collaboration, the companies aim to clear roadblocks that can delay or deter corporate adoption of electronic payments, such as high costs of deploying and connecting a myriad of third-party systems. 

A financial service group Voice Commerce has launched a new suite of payment services meant for businesses. The new solution dubbed as Cashflows is positioned as one of seven payment card acquirers in the UK and Ireland. It is the only acquirer independent from traditional banks. This year Voice Commerce was granted a principal membership both at Visa EU and MasterCard.

As Clear2Pay announced Monday, it has achieved full SwiftReady accreditation for its Open Payment Framework and the payment solutions derived off it and thus has successfully demonstrated full compliance with the SwiftReady Payments 2010 Label criteria.
