Parents in Britain cannot obtain friendship with their children on the Facebook website, reveals a new survey. 30% of UK parents get rejected when sending Facebook “friend” requests to their children and many of them then use other people's login details in order to keep track of their kids’ activities.
The survey of 2,000 Brits revealed that about 5% of parents wish they could monitor their kids on the social network but they do not know how, while 55% are already tracking their kids online. Nearly 11% say the only reason they had a Facebook account was to keep an eye on their nippers.
Altogether then, it would appear that 24 per cent of online Brit parents consider that the only reason to use Facebook is worry about their children.
