New Zealand M-Com m-banking solution was chosen by Cambodian ACLEDA Bank

M-Com, international mobile banking solution provider, is delighted to announce its product BankAnywhere was chosen by ACLEDA Bank Plc in a move to power its mobile banking and payment services.

ACLEDA intends to roll out M-Com's BankAnywhere product within its secure data center in the capital, Phnom Penh, and integrated to its Temenos T24 core banking system. 

The solution is to provide ACLEDA customers with the ability to make P2P payments, pre-paid top up, utility bill payments and manage their finances in both Khmer and English scripts. The services will be available through SMS, mobile browser and downloadable application interfaces and support multiple currencies and language scripts as required by ACLEDA's customers.

As M-Com CEO and Founder, Adam Clark stated commenting the deal, "Mobile phones have transformed the lives of many Cambodians in a positive way, and we will work with ACLEDA to bring them compelling mobile financial services that deliver convenience, control and more financial freedom to them."

 According to Mr. In Channy’, President and CEO of ACLEDA Bank Plc words, searching for a complete mobile banking and payment solution in terms of a fast-growing bank in a rapidly-developing economy, the company wants to make sure that its mobile services are universally available to its customers, safe for them to use and deliver the dependability and reliable. "We will be leapfrogging the Internet channel and going straight to mobile," he added.
