According to the Associated Press, Americans are losing confidence in President Barack Obama. As a new national poll, conducted August, 13-17, declares, people are anxious over the future of health care reform and worry about the growing federal budget deficit.
As it was found by Washington Post-ABC News research, only 49% believe the president will make the right decisions for the country. That's down from 60% at the 100-day mark of the Obama presidency.
As the poll says, Obama's overall approval is just 57%, that is 12 points lower than it used to be in April. 53% disapprove of the way he's handling the budget deficit and his approval on health care continues to deteriorate.
The national survey was conducted and has a sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points.
