Will government stimulus really boost economic recovery?

As chief economist and Fact & Opinion Economics, Robert Brusca, stated Thursday, despite the economy has started its recovery, Obama needs to become more of a cheerleader to help it along.

Brusca also predicts strong growth in the second semester of this year, mentioning the improvement in employment volume.

In his interview on CNBC Brusca reported "I don't know what the President is doing. I mean, he certainly isn't waving the pompoms in the White House. If he can't get on board for recovery, I don't know how we're going to get any kind of leadership."

At the same time, Peter Cecchini of Seven Bridges Management isn't so confident, signing that a strong increase in consumer spending is not observed as the US consumers, making up 70% of the national economy, are “really strapped”. He considers that the recovery is being driven by government stimulus, which is not a sustainable strategy for growth.
