Payment Data Systems's Zbill gets a new contract
Zbill, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Payment Data Systems, announced that it signed an agreement with another company on addition of PDS’ Private Label bill payment services to its payroll card programs. The second party of the contract is being kept anonymous, although it has been announced to be a leading provider of stored value cards and transaction processing services to a variety of industry segments. The solution is about providing employees using Company’s stored value payroll card services with the opportunity of paying their bills online. The contract terms are for three years.

The Company’s CEO highlighted that the advantage of the system was its ability to provide access for multiple payment accounts, such as: checking, savings, investment accounts and prepaid debit cards. “We chose PDS’ bill payment platform because of their ability to implement in less than four weeks and that their platform is bank independent. We also took comfort in knowing that Payment Data’s offering is fully licensed under U.S. Patent 7,021,530 that relates to bill payments made with debit and stored value cards,” he added

Michael Long, CEO of Payment Data Systems’ stated that they are happy to add a company, who has been so successful in the OTR marketplace to its clients list. “This functionality will be exposed to a current, but rapidly growing base of more than 250,000 payroll card holders,” noted he.
