61% of mobile users stop using mobile services due to set up problems
Independent research house Coleman Parkes has revealed the results of the recent survey conducted in the US and the UK to find the problems people face with their mobile devices. According to results 95% of mobile users admit having problems with setting of new mobile services and that prevents them from using those services. 45% of the people polled have told that due to a complex set up process they prefer using the old models of mobile phones and the avoid the latest ones. 78% say that they would change their cell phones regularly but for those set up difficulties. And 61% people think that phone setup is as frustrating as changing a bank account.

65% of people polled are sure that mobile operators fail new phones since people will not buy them due to setup difficulties. 46% mobile users have difficulties with email checking, 40% with the Internet browsing, 30% with instant messaging and 29% with picture messaging. 61% responders admitted to stop using mobile applications after failing to solve those problems. 

Other survey highlights:

•    85% find it frustrating to have to go through a number of steps when they want to activate a service or application;
•    78% are anxious about losing mobile data when changing devices;
•    96% said to value service when it automatically copies numbers, content and other data from one device to another.
